Default Faulty Airbags

Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I hit a moose on Sunday doing 100 km/h. Air bags(none of them deployed)

What were you driving?
looks like the front impact sensor wasn't hit (it appears you hit off to the side first). Some models put it under the hood latch. that sensor and the safeing sensor in the Supplemental inflatable restraint module both must be triggered to cause a deployment.

It is a edge sel. I hit just right of centre. The whole front is gone and I hit at 100 Khm how hard do you have to hit for the sensor to go off. At that speed I am very surprised and by googling other airbags on the edge in an accident it looks like I'm not the only one. Just waiting to hear if they are going to fix it or write it off. The ins company said they will fix up to 20,000
