Question Ford Edge 2016

Hello there,

I'm interested in buying Ford Edge 2016, and I have couple of questions.

1) Does this car have good noise isolation? From 1 to 10 how do you find it noisy compared to your previous vehicles?

2) What trim do you think worth its money? Currently, I'm leaning more towards "SEL"

3) What tires do you suggest? 18,19 or 20". I find 19" not very popular and see their prices usually highest.

Thanks!

Default Get the titanium

Just bought a 2016 SEL Edge. I love it, my wife loves it. I am glad I did not get the Base model which I was first considering. Do not get the Base unless the cost to upgrade is a deal breaker for your budget

The SEL is very well worth the little extra it costs. However, I am regretting I did not get the Titanium for the upgraded sound system and electronics. I usually keep a car 10 to 15 years - and the few extra thousand would have been well worth it. I would get the Titanium if I were to get a do-over.

Noise isolation is relative measure. It is good. It is as good as our Flex. Is it as good as a Lexus? I doubt it, but it is good.

I don't know about the size of the wheels/tires. I've got 18" wheels. Doesn't matter to me. The car handles well at 80 on narrow, uneven tollway lanes. I've got no complaints. Maybe 20" would handle better, but 18" is fine.
