Paint worn off grill emblem/door ajar
I bought my 2011 Ford Edge Limited used in July of 2016.I loved its head turning Pearl White finish. What I did not expect was for the blue paint to wear away on the "Ford" grill emblem. It looks horrible. With mine worn like that caused me to look for other Ford Edge's in the same condition. Surprisingly, I noticed that this was quite common. It bugs me that Ford Motor Company could stoop so low as to adorn its product with a name emblem of inferior quality. It shows that they just do not care.
It brings to mind how I had to pay for a door latch module that cost $436. It was giving a false "door ajar" signal, which kept the lights on ,which drained the battery. It was a nuisance problem that Ford does NOT recognize as a recall item.
Ford is worse than a dead beat dad that does not take care of his children.

My 2013 Edge (Recently wrecked when hit by a distracted driver) also had the Ford emblem wear off. It really does look horrible and I'm sure it deters a lot of folks from considering the Edge when they drive around looking like this. I've seen quite a few in my area with this emblem worn off.
