I have a 2001 Escape V6 3.0L. Check engine light code P1409. Replaced EGR Solenoid but still have same code. Replaced DPFE and code still remains. Checked EGR valve with vacuum pump and seems to be operational. With KOEO I do have 12v at both area of the solenoid. I have full vacuum to solenoid. When I ground the solenoid I do get an increase and in vacuum to EGR but not full manifold vacuum. I also have 12v to both sides of solenoid KOER. If I clear codes when engine runnng light does not come back on while driving but as soon as engine is turned off and engine restarted check engine light comes back on immediately with code P1409.

Seems I obviously have an electrical issue. I checked all vacuum lines to in circuit and all is good. Not sure where to go from here. Is it possibly a PCM issue? Any elk greatly appreciated.
