I have an 01 escape xlt and the electric door locks have a habit of locking/unlocking randomly. I think they are supposed to automatically lock after the car is put in drive but this doesn't always happen and sometimes when I unlock the vehicle it locks itself before I can open the door. Is there a setting that can be adjusted or some component that needs to be replaced? I'm wondering if electronic devices such as store alarms, etc.. are the cause of the problem and if there's a solution that works.
