I recently brought my 2004 Ford Escape FWD in to be appraised for trade in value. The person that test drove it said that they could only give me $250 because it sounded like the rear differential was about to go out. Does a front wheel drive escape even have a rear differential???

 

If it has "All Wheel Drive " it could.

 

My escape definitely has front wheel drive. I dont understand how they think they couldve heard this problem if it doesnt exist.
