So my wife wrecked her 2006 escape hybrid, minor damage, but radiator busted as well as inverter cooler but it still ran I just didn't wanna run it hot so I didn't run it for more than 30 seconds or so. Now I've replaced radiator and cooler but it only started for a few seconds now I'm getting no crank no start and its saying safely stop immediately. I won't have anyone to hook up a scanner for at least a week, what can I look at in the mean time?

 

Hybrids have extra safety procedures before allowing the vehicle to start.
You could try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it to see if the fault goes away, first thing I would do is check fault codes but you said you won't be able to for a week.
