Exclamation 2007 Escape rusted rear shock tower and damage

I have a 2007 Escape with a rusted out right rear shock tower. The shock is completely rusted away from the body. My wife was driving and the shock wedged itself against the tire and stopped the car. I had her call AAA to tow the car home and when the wheel freed itself up it made a crunching sound and now the car has a wobble and gear noise coming from the rear diff I believe. I removed the shock, but it's still there. What could have been damaged?

You will have to have a new panel welded in to mount the shock back. Without the support the rear end will not be aligned or secured properly
