Default 2008 escape code P0304

I have a 2008 Escape 3.0L with code P0304 Cylinder 4 misfire. I just changed the spark plugs and the ignition coil but it still remains. I even tried switching coil packs 4 and 5 and still the same. So a few questions I have.
1. should I look at the fuel injector? Could that cause a misfire code or would it have its own code.
2. To make sure I am looking at the correct cylinder, #4 is on the passenger side fwd correct?

Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to correct it? Thank you for your assistance.

Ok so cylinder 4 would be looking at the engine you can see three coils, it would be the one on the passenger side.
So you swapped the coils from cylinders 4 and 5 and cleared the codes but the same code P0304 returned?
The coil has a two wire plug, you can carefully check if there is voltage between those two wires to see if it is getting the command to fire. If the coil wires shows a intermittent jump in voltage then you know it should be firing and that ignition is not the issue.
Next up would be to get a noid light kit, disconnect the fuel injector for cylinder four and plug the noid light to said injector connector, have someone crank the vehicle seeing if the noise light lights up, it will flash quickly if the injector gets the command to open.
