Default 2008 Ford Escape Wheel Bearing Noise

I have a 2008 Ford Escape with AWD. I have just replaced my front left wheel bearing (looking from the back of the vehicle towards the steering wheel). The replacement bearing is Raybestos. I removed the wheel knuckle and took it to Sears where they removed the old bearing and installed the new. I put everything back together. There is now a rumbling noise coming from the front left wheel when I drive. The rumbling gets extremely loud when I turn take sharp right turns at higher speeds (+40mph). Does anyone have an idea what this noise could be? Is it the spindle or the bearing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site..

Hopefully the new bearing was 'pressed' into place. (?) If they 'drove' it in, it could have damaged or dimpled the new bearing races.

The way these go together is,,

The new bearing is pressed into the spindles bore on/from the 'outter' race. The snap ring installs into the spindle and locks its from moving out.

The hub is pressed into the bearing 'inner' race with the bearings inner race supported from the underside. Anywhere else can damage the bearing. It must be pressed in completely and bottomed.

The axle is installed and pulled through the inner hub spline. If it wasn't torqued to spec, or pulled all the way through it could now be loose.
