Default 2008 Sunroof drain exit location

Hello all,
first I should say that I don't have a ford escape, but rather a mercury mariner. But the forums for the mariner are soooooo sparse that I thought maybe since they share a chassis, that there would be some crossover.

Trying to clear a clog in my sunroof drainlines. I get a good bit of wire (i'm using speaker wire) into the drainline (about 5ft), but haven't been able to clear it yet. I thought maybe I would go from the other end and see what I found. Only problem is I'm not sure where to find the drainline exit... is it in the door? is it behind the front tires (for the front drains)... in the wheel well? maybe someone here can point me in the right direction.

Many thanks!

The front runs down the side of your windshield either to the door jam or wheel well or under the plastic cover that your wiper arms come out of or under the hood out of the firewall. The rear ones come out the rear door jam or somewhere near the rear tire. Just look for a oval rubber cap or a small hose exiting the body. Have you tried compressed air and a shop vac?

Compressed air and shop vac were next... just have to build the reducer for the shopvac.

I've been looking the past couple days for the exit point and found a couple spots that "could" be it... one in the door jam (rubber grommet at bottom, but did not seem porous), but haven't found anything conclusive. was just curious if anyone had done something similar and could narrow down those choices...

i'll keep poking around... let me know if anyone else has conclusive experience with an 08

Thank you all!

Thanks! I've tried the wire (i used speaker wire and got about 5 feet in and it stops), and just have to find my 5/8" tubing to use the compressor. But rather than shove wire down blindly, I was trying to figure out where it might exit, to potentially try from the drain exit as well as the clog may be very close to the end (I imagine i'm close to the end of the channel with 5ft of wire)
