2009 2.5L vibration at idle
103k mi and this just started. Goes away in neutral/park and when I accelerate. Car runs fine otherwise.
did a scan and no codes. EGR seems to function although I am not sure what the % value readings mean. They are 0 at idle and go to various % on acceleration but not a consistent % reading. When I just graph the EGR on data scan it goes up in % at every acceleration
Did see about 1/4"-1/2" movement is PS motor mount on brake/accel test so replacing that and hopefully that resolves

ordered the front PS mount from Rockauto and it came the next day. The part was warehoused about 40 mi from me so it was overnight on standard shipping. Part was under $40 shipped compared to $110+ at auto part store
Very simple to replace using a floor jack and a piece of wood to jack up motor under oil pan. Didn't have to move anything else out of the way to access all the bolts other than slightly moving AC line which was just held by a u shaped plastic clamp it popped out of. Took about 15 min. to replace mount
The old mount while still mounted but with connecting plate to motor removed could be easily moved with a screwdriver inserted in the large isolator bolt hole. New one had MUCH less movement.

Well upon further review...there still was a "slight" (read not as much as before PS mount replace). So I ordered the other 2 motor mounts from rockauto assuming one or both were also "worn".
Since I had already replaced the PS last week I did the DS front first. You need to put car up on ramps and do from under the car. Very straight forward and only took about 30 min. Most of that was to remove/replace the plastic shield splash guard under tranny. To access the large bolt going through the mount you need to drop that plastic splash shield. Support motor with floor jack under tranny.
The DS rear was completely accessible from up top and only took about 15 min. Again using a floor jack to support motor under tranny
The PS top and DS rear appear to be the most fatigued but the DS front rubber had hardened but may have still been good. For the $15 IMHO no big deal to replace.
So if you do have a vibe at idle in gear (otherwise none once car is moving) motor mounts likely the reason assuming it is not a tune or emission component failing. This repair was around $75 for all 3 mounts + about $12 in shipping and only took basic ratchet/extension/swivel and sockets to install + ramps and a floor jack. Before mount swap the motor would move at least a 1" when holding foot on brake, in gear, and giving it gas. Now just a "slight" motion but no where near the movement as before. YMMV
Front DS mount: $15.89
More Information for DEA/MRC A5481
Rear DS mount: $28.79

Front PS (top) mount: $32.79
