2013 Escape - Problems Folding Rear Seats
The passenger side rear seat folding mechanism has failed at 4000 km (2500 miles).
Although the seat folded properly when we took delivery of our Escape, it failed after less than a dozen uses. It seems that the cable mechanism has disconnected at either the handle or the connection to the release mechanism. The cable connect points do not appear accessible without dismantling the seat.
I will have the selling dealer fix it when I bring it in for its first oil change.
