2017 Escape poor acceleration
Car had motor replaced due to an engine recall, several years ago.
For nearly 2 years my wife has complained about poor acceleration.
I have had the car into the service department at least 6 times. Each repair lasted no more than a few weeks.
The transmission was replaced as well as the turbocharger. Still no success. I can only conclude that they were not the problem.
HELP!!!

Since engine replacement has it had poor acceleration? Or did it occur much later? I'm guessing the engine was replaced due to coolant intrusion. I don't exactly recall which engines were replaced and which were given short blocks. If they did a short block its possible they didn't reassemble it correctly. It could be a tooth out of time, improperly cleaned head, etc. If they replaced the whole engine they wouldn't have messed with the previously mentioned things but could have misaligned the CKP sensor. Basically it could be anything. Also it looks like they don't know what they are doing, just throwing expensive parts at it. Is the Check Engine Light on? Is it actually poor acceleration, have you driven it? What does it feel like, shaking, jerking, etc. or just like it doesn't get up and go (as described).
