Default airbag light 4-7 always on...
hi. my '04 ford escape has its airbag light come on blinking 4-7, and then goes steady after a while... what does this mean? and how do i reset this? thanks.

Check the connector on the 'passenger side' safety belt pretensioner for corrosion and/orfit.. The code is for an open or low resistance on the belt tensioner on that side.. They had a connectivity issue...

worked great! thanks! first i tried testing the seat belt socket, but it was good... so all i did was just plug the socket back in, and everything went fine! thanks a bunch. thank you ford forums!!
