I own a 2001 escape with 128,000 miles on it. On my way to the garage to have the transmission serviced, fuel filter and the spark plugs changed, I noticed the check gas cap light on. I looked in the book and it said emissions light. Any information would help. Just wondering what this could be. Thx

 

I own an 04,had same problem at 34,000 miles.I replaced gas cap,light went out.
