Default Doing front brakes 2010 Escape.

For anyone that is wanting to know, I did the front disk brakes on my 2010 Escape, and it was super easy. All you need is some brake fluid and a # 7 hex key attachment for your socket wrench. There are some good videos on you tube.

Also need a " C" clamp to push in the piston on the brake, so that you can get the new pads in. Good luck.

Just curious...

Why did you need brake fluid? Did you have a leak? Also, what did you exactly do for the front disk brakes? Just replace the pads?

I replaced the pads only. I bled the brakes because it replaces the old fluid with new fluid in the lines. My dad always says this is best, and it is only a little extra work.
