I purchased a 2020 Escape Hybrid SE Sport this summer. I added a tow hitch for a bike rack a week after purchase. I am hearing a rattle from the rear of the car. It is not consistent and mostly when driving over bumpy roads. When the car turns either right or left from a stopped or slowed down position, there is a squeek sound from the rear. I removed the bike rack and checked the hitch and it is secure. Does anyone have any thoughts about or experience with this?

 

Whatever it is, best to have a dealership check it over since it most likely be covered by warranty. If it wasn't there before the rack was installed, that should tell you something.
