Can someone help to figure out what the latest updates are for the maps display and the points of interest in the 2009 Escape? How often are they updated?

I purchased my vehicle 15 May 2009, and I want to be sure that I was given the latest software release as of that time.

I would also like to find out what the cost of the latest upgrade is.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated....!
