Default Escape 2005

I have a 2005 Escape 3.0L, @15k miles, I have experiencing a high pitch which sound like a gear winning cruising between 60mph to 65mph at 70mph it gets softer.
I have consulted the local Ford dealer in Dubai and they said it is the characteristics of the Ford Escape

If anyone has experienced the same or might knowanything please let me know.[/align]

Yes I have the same whining noise and talked to the dealer and tried a couple of different ones on their lot and they all make the same whining noise.
The dealer claims it has to do with the drive line and I find it strange but I have to live with it.
Funny I tried several foreign models and no noise at al. I believe they do need some better engineers at Ford otherwise they will loose more of their market share.

I have not heard of this problem, nor does mine make this noise,.. can not say for sure, but check your transmissionfluids, be sure to use your manual for the truck to properly check it,
