DOES ANYONE NO WHAT WOULD CAUSE THE EGR VALVE TO READ A LOW OR INSUFFICENT AIR FLOW ON A 01 FORD EXSCAPE XLS V6 THE CODE IS P0401 ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

Was code P1408 present during a KOER (running test) as well? If there isn't a restriction in the EGR system, or EGR valve problems, vacuum circuit is good as well as wire circuits, and the vacuum regulator valve is functioning correctly, then the (DPFE) Differential Pressure Feedback Exhaust sensor for EGR flow is probably bad.. I've replaced more than few in various models.. It some cases the DPFE has been re-engineered.. Check the hoses at the DPFE for leaks, and the small manifold supply tubes for carbon restriction/s with compressed air or wire probe.. Most likely the DPFE sensor as they get pounded with exhaust emissions continuously, moisture contamination, and exhaust heat that corrodes the sensor inside...

aI have the same issue on my 1999 Ford E150 I changed the sensor and removed the EGR valve cleaned that and the lines still getting the same code! What next?
