I have a 2007 Escape Hybrid. The GPS system will not allow you to input new addresses or select from points of interest while driving (the address lockout I understand but selecting POIs doesn't seem too distracting). I was wondering if there is any way to override this lockout? My nephew has a Nissan Murano with the same feature but it can be deactivated.
