3.0 in a rear wheel drtve sedan. Is that a possibility or a pipe dream?
I have a Ford Escape 2007, and I´m moving with it to Ukraine, where it may be difficult or flaf out way too expensive to register it. So me being me, I started to think of fun things I might do with that little engine, which is quite powerful at 200 hp. I´m an old fashioned guy who prefers rear wheel drive in a street car, so i´m thinking about stuffing the engine in a Lada, which is a Russian compact, styled after an early seventies Fiat, and it is rear wheel driven. I see the greatest problem being to source a transmission suited for rear wheel drive, that I can hook up to the three liter. Any suggestions?
