Hello, I am the owner of 2005 xlt with the lower end sound system (not mach) I am looking to add some kind of subwoofer and am looking for suggestions. I don’t want to mess with anything in the doors or replace any stock stuff if possible. IN doing some minor research I have found a kenwoord 5x7 unit that would slide underneath the seat OR a kenwood 12 inch sub that would take a lot of space. If anyone has done this please let me know, also what if any adapters would be needed. THANKS in advancevitreous04@gmail.com

 

Im not to sure what the 2005 has for a cd player or tape player but i know inmy 2003 i had to replace my stock 6 disk with a regular cd player from jvc in order to have the proper connections for the sub and amp. i got 2 10" rockford fawsgates in a sub box in the backand i still got lots of room. hope this give ya some insight
