Strange sound dealer dont know how to fix it! (Help+Video)
Hello in my 25k the 2010 Escape started to make a weird sound and dealers said it was water pump and it was replaced. Like 3 months a strange sound have come a whisper and other strange sound. I take it to the dealer past week they said it was a tensor and replace it , I use it on the dealer no sound but, when I'm on the highway driving I noticed the sound and came back to the dealer that it was not fixed the mechanic listened to the sound and said is other thing I don't remember but I mean, is like they don't know what it is and is bought brand new car from 2010 and they are like just guessing and replacing parts. I currently have 30k and want this problem fixed before leaving warranty, From all repairs I accumulated like 4 weeks (not in a row) going to dealer wait a week for fix and on an on.
Videos of the sound:
The sound changed or aggravated from video 1 to video 2.

That's the tensioner. The tensioner or the idler pulley is making that noise. That's my guess right now.
Take the belt off. Reach up and grab the pulleys. If you feel ANY play, hats the cause. Better yet, just replace them. If sound goes away you are good. If not return the parts.

While watching your 2nd video it appeared one of the pulleys stopped and it looked like the air conditioning clutch. It was the water pump pulley. I can't be sure if it actually stopped momentarily or the camera just showed it that way.
When we get something like this we usually remove the belt and see if the noise is gone. If so, check all the moving pulleys and feel for any looseness or roughness while turning the pulley. It is difficult to pin down some noises unless we do that. I hear so many noises I am not sure just which one you are concerned with. Just like a doctor we use a listening device and place it by every pulley and listen for which one makes the loudest noise.
