just bought a 05 ecape, no manual came with it. how do you engage the 4 wheel drive? I got stuck in a few inches of snow, after much forward and back i got it out, and once out, the 4x4 light came on. how do I just turn it on in the first place? thanks

 

Should be automatic 4WD using a viscous clutch mounted on the rear diff.
