I have been trying to hop up a 1994 Ford Escort.


I have run into many problems with doing so, but first ill go into what i have.

As i said its a 1994 Ford Escort LX 1.9. I have a Weapon R intake, Pacesetter 3" exhaust on it. what i am looking for is more performance mods and exterior. where can i find a body kit, maybe some clear lenses, both front and rear, and maybe some decent interior stuff. Do they make things for this car or am i just fighting a losing battle?

 

Maybe you could find a 2 Liter Zetec from a focus, and swap it in, it has a healthy number of aftermarket parts. Best example of the zetec iv'e seen had 500 horsepower, it's even a book out on how to build a 500 horsepower Focus. The Zetec is an underrated motor, I see more potential in it, than those highly overrated Vtecs.

 

I've seen bodykits for the 94 Escort, look around on the internet, I saw one in a Sport Compact Car magazine.
