I have a 94 escort with the 1.9. I replaced the coil pack, timing sensor, ignition module. Still nothing it turns over fine but no spark. The check engine light doesn't come on when the key is turned on. I am stumped any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

 

no spark, how about your spark plugs? but i feel this is not spark plugs problem, any help from someone else?

 

my 93 did the same thing it was turning over but wouldn't start...I tested the fuel pump and had to replace it now it cranks.

 

Turn the key to the run position and listen to a humming. That is the the fuel pump. It is very evedent in the escort. If there is No hum its youur fuel pump. If there is a hum or whirrr then you should replace the fuel filter. If you have to replace the fuel filter blow through the filter. If its easy to blow through then Im out of ideas.
