Default cold air intake

Hey guys, quick cold air intake question...
i've got a 99 escort lx , will an intake made for a zx2 with the same size engine fit?

Are you referring to the Air Filter intake?? or from the Throttle Body to the Upper Intake Manifold??? or The Plastic Air Intake near the Fender???

i found an aftermarket short ram cold air intake that'll fit a 2.0 zx2 engine, i didn't know if it would fit in an lx tho.

If it is the same engine type, and the same mounting arranement it should be fine.
