egr vavle?

ok so ive startet to get a pretty rough idle and i figured id pull the egr valve to see if i see carbon building up or anything but i cant seem to locate it....
does anyone have any idea where it would be

You did not give a year, so I just googled the image for a Ford Escort EGR Valve.

It looks like the Right one for a 2.0L....Hope he comes back with Year, Make...
