Default RE: Escort wont start

Havent' checked this forum for a couple of days. I have to assume you've had the car towed by now.

But just in case you are still in need of help. You need to describe what's happening more thoroughly.

You turn the key, then what?

You hear the engine crank and you get nothing? If so, probably timing belt. 9 times out of 10.

You get a clicking noise but no turn over? If so, probably need a starter solenoid replacement.

Let us know what you found. What the garage told you.

Your final info is useful to the rest of us.

thanks.
