Default Floor jack

Where do you place a floorjack under a '95 Escort? The ops manual has instructions to place the emergency jack in one of the seams, but the picture looks nothing like the bottom of my car.

Hello and good day to you:

If you are going to use a floor jack..place it beneath the crossmember at the front or rear...operate the jack with a slow, smooth motion until the wheel is raised off the ground. If you're using jackstands position them beneath the support points along the front ore rear side sills.

Good luck 6
