Ford Escort This compact car is still commonly seen on the road today with its economical engine and small body, makes for a great daily commuter into the crowded city.

Default Greetings Ford Folks

New here to the website. I just bought a '95 Merc Tracer sedan with 1.9L engine to play with. I have enough cars to keep me busy, but I have nieces and nephews that are going to need cars soon. I thought I would fix up an old simple car for one of them. The car has 160,000 miles on it and a 90 year old guy owned it. It's pretty rough, but I'll be bringing it back to life. I can see it had a junkyard head put on it with a new timing belt and radiator. It has a check engine light on that I'll look into and an air bag light that flashes when started and eventually shuts off (clockspring maybe?). I'll start ripping into it after the holidays.
Just thought I'd say hello and say I'm glad to be a member and perhaps a participant to some solutions as well.
Thanks,
Corky
