Iginition came out
One day when I took my car out of the ignition, the whole ignition mechnisim came out. My quick fix to this was stick a screw driver in it and turn it on that way. That worked for awhile, until something else broke off inside and now the blasted thing won't start again. I talked to a friend of mine about quick fixes (without replacing the whole ignition with another one) and he tells me that the car could be rewired into a switch...meaning, that the car would turn on at the flip or push of a button, which is fine by me, because the car is a 1991 Ford Escrot LX (1.9)...hardly worth anything.
Anyone have any ideas of what I can do. I know nothing about wiring, but I am a very quick learner, so I wouldn't mind attempting anything that is going to make my car turn on.
I have attached two pictures of what I am talking about, so that you can get a better feel. If the pictures don't come up, just click on the little boxes and they will appear in a new tab.
