Hello all. Unfortunately my Ford Escort was knocked and off came one of the light fittings. The said party responsible are very sorry and have made inquiries into finding a replacement part. They have found someone suitable and this someone would like to know the model number of the Escort. I've had a look a paperwork and can find no model number. The only info I have is this:

Make: Ford
Model/type: Escort L 5 SPD 5 Door Hatchback
Date of registration: 01 08 1990

Is there such a thing as a model/make number?

Any help greatfully appreciated.

Model = Escort L ,

Make = Ford

VIN = Vechile Id Number, usually found at the lower left of the windshield,an corner of dash
