Default Replacement of the heater core, 87 Escort

Hello ALL, new user here. Also first Ford Escort. Anyways, I have a 1987 GL Wagon that seems to have a slight antifreeze smell coming out of the heater / A/C vents.

How hard is it to replace the heater core? I did just replace one on a 86 Bronco, and that was not to bad, but it looks like this Escort is a bit harder. ANY heads up would be helpful.

Thank you, David

first get a chiltons or a haynes manual for you car then figure out iff it come out behind the glove box, from the engine side or you have to remove the entire dash to get to it......that is for start all else is simple tidious tasks of screws and wire connectors, mine took 2hrs and i had to remove the dash
