F350 Springs on an Excursion?
Anybody put F350 springs on an excursion? Thinking about trying it if it would work. I generally carry around 500lbs in tools in the back of my excursion. Then when I add my trailer I get quite a bit of sag. wanting the extra spring rate if possible, not really into helper springs myself, plus figure the F350's may give me a bit of lift all the way around.

Well......had a chance to compare my X to my dads F250 superduty and looks like the springs location and set-up is quite different. Guessing that the F250 is the virtualy the same as the F350 so I dont think it would work as a swap to the X.

Yes, the 250 and 350 rear springs will fit on the Excursion. The dually 350 springs won't fit though. If the springs have overloads you need to take the pack apart and remove it. The 350 springs will...IIRC give you another inch in the rear. While you're in there if you wanted even more lift you could swap out your 2" block for a 350 rear block (4"). The difference is well worth the time to do this. I have a 28 ft. toybox with about 1100#'s of TW and it helped the sag quite a bit. It helped the wandering the things inherently have.I also have airbags so I've done as much as I can to the rear. If you can find a set cheap...I recommend doing it.
