04 Expedition seat minder deactivation won't work
I have read and followed the instructions on p.174 of the owner’s manual to deactivate the seatbelt chime. The computer flashes a confirmation code that DEactivation has occurred. BUT THE SEAT BELT CHIME DOESN’T ACTUALLY DEACTIVATE.
I repeat the procedure and the computer flashes a confirmation code that REactivation has occurred.
I then repeat the procedure again and the computer again flashes a confirmation code that DEactivation has occurred again. BUT THE SEAT BELT CHIME NEVER ACTUALLY DEACTIVATES.
Anybody seen this one before?
Any way to reboot the computer?
Ideas?
