I have a 2001 Expedition that the suspension light comes on while driving and then goes off when I turn off and start the car again. It maybe does it every week or so. Any ideas what could be causing this? Would the codes be stored even if the light is off?

 

My suspension light comes on do to the cencer in the back under side over the axle is lose.The cener has a lil boot on it and is hooket to the axle bighten the nut so it dont slide around.

I got the 2001 Expedition and I am looking for someone with a tester in the STL area. I willing to drive to meet.

Yes I know ford will test it. the last time I took it in they charged me $80 to tell me the plug on the back off the steering pump and triggered the light. It would have been nice if he would had put it on and retested....


Yes I put the plug on and I get the suspension light after driving.
