I have a 2003 expy E/B, and wouldn't you know it, 1 month after the extended warranty expires the selector switch that allows you to switch between defrost, floor, or vent mode is not working.

I do not know if it the switches, or a actuator motor that is defective.
Does any body know what is usually the cause of this type of problem?
I probably will be taking it to a shop, I was just curious what to expect.
If I should be prepared to grab my ankles, or maybe my luck will be turning around and it will be something inexpensive.
