I'm thinking about by a bumper pull travel trailer, I have been trying to figure out what is the maximum towing weight. I have read things about weight distribution and heavy duty tow packages. My Expedition has TBC for trailer breaks we just recently pulled a travel trailer that weighted 6500lbs I'm wanting to get a big one.

How do I find out what axle I have and whether or not I have a heavy duty tow package?

It will tell you what your axle code/ratio is, if you have the tow package and how much you can tow.
