I have a 2015 Expedition EL that just has the standard tow package. After reviewing all the information from Ford, it appears I can upgrade to the HD package by switching out the Radiator and adding a transmission cooler. And of course installing a 7 pin/Trailer Brake combo.

Does anyone else have experience doing this? Is there anything I am missing to ensure I can jump up to the 9100 pound limit.


We have a large family and 6600 pounds is cutting it really close with our options.
