I am to the end of my rope with my expedition. It ran like crap, I replaced the Fuel Filter and it ran much better. Immediately it would not start unless it was jumped, then it would not start at all. The Battery, Starter, Alternator, and solenoid on the firewall have all been replaced. Still wont start, the motor will not turn over, sounds like it is taking every ounce of electricity to just click once and thats it.If you can, please help a guy in desperate need......

 

Check the cable going to the starter. It might need replaced. I had a 90 ranger that the power wire to the starter had a dead short in it, and when you tried to start it, nothing. It fails when you put a load like starting the motor.
