Default Airbag light codes?

I have a 2003 Expedition and I have a question about the airbag light. Every time the engine starts, the airbag light flashes 4 times - then a short pause - then flashes 2 more times. It goes through this cycle three or four times, then lights continuous for the rest of the trip. Any idea what this code means?

Thanks!

if you have an autozone or somewhere near that you can take your vehicleto and they can hook up a code reader and give you the actual code thats popping, if yournot sure if they will do it call first. typically this is a free service at autozone, others may do it for free as well.it would then be easier to diagnose and troubleshoot your problem.

You may also want to check your fuses first. could just be as simple as that.

I have the same truck same year, that happened 2 years ago there is an extended warrranty on all veivhles with airbags, I think it 5 years or 50,000 miles? Brought mine in and it was a bad seat ground for the belt connector, thay had to take the seat out to fix, nut it was free. I think my code was the same and then after all the flashes it stayed on full time unitl I turned off the engine.
