Just joined the forum as I'm pretty stumped as to the cause of my heating/cooling issue. 2004 Eddie Bauer 4x4 and I just replaced the blend door motor. I should state that I had none of the clicking that people often mention but thought I would start with the blend door motor as it seems to be such a common issue. So replaced the blend door motor and what i have found(daughters car) is that the heat seems to be fluctuating between hot and cold. Driving with my hand on the shifter and directly in front of the vent and what i feel is the temperature fluctuating between hot and cold. Is this the actual blend door itself or some other issue. The fluctuation is the part that is confusing to me. It would seem that the door or the motor itself would just get stuck in one position or the other either hot or cold?? Thanks in advance
