I have a 1997 Expedition with 130 k and change on the milage ticker.... it is giving me a small problem... what it is dooing some times is the 5 amp fuse that works the gages and the overhead info center and the automatic lights blows and up on the info center the display says "CS"...??? Do you guys have any ideas on what it may BEE? I replace the fuse and go to drive it and the 5 amp fuse will blow shortly after i start mooving! Thanks for your help... Tim

I believe CS is for the Compass Sensor..

You can see by the image, that the 5amp fuse is on the 'Hot in Run' for power feed for the CS sensor... Might try and disconnect the sensor and see if the fuse blows.. Could be something else on the shared circuit/s.. Is it blowing the 5amp fuse in position 2 or 6?

Here's the schematic for the CS/OTC...

CS stands for circuit short.
