1999 Expedition tailgate won't open.
Power lock sounds like it is working and key lock sounds and feels like its working, but can't unlatch window or tailgate. Has something come undone inside? How do I get it open to fix?

 

The cable ends have rotted and come loose. New cables can be found on E-bay. Or new ends can be found and installed.
