Default Connecting Rod Bearing ~ Torque Spec

My husband is replacing a connecting rod bearing that was worn..... does anyone know the torque specs? The book says the bolts are torque to yield.... are the bolts reusable or do they have to be replaced? Also, he tried an oversided bearing 0.25mm (I think) and it was really big. He is now thinking of putting on the standard bearing, as he says the crankshaft was luckily okay..... any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The rod bearings are torque to yield and are replaced on each repair..

Step 1... 18 lb-ft
Step 2... 30 lb-ft
Step 3... Tighten additional 90 degree's
