Question Dim Information Center

I have a 2009 Expedition. It's information center is so dim that it's unreadable, except at night. I have turned up the inside light dimmer switch but that doesn't help. Is this fixable or just another of Ford's better ideas?

Old post but I have encountered the same issue. It is totally unreadable. Mine is a 2012. I would have liked to assume there is a bulb burnt out or a blown fuse.I need to look at the schematic to see if such a bulb exists. I will keep this thread alive until I find a solution.

Don't know for sure if this is the problem in this case.
Most times when sufficient power is not available screen resolution /brightness can suffer.
Might be a good idea to confirm full required power is available to that area.

At least I know the first post is not my truck, so there's that!

If there is such a thing as a daytime bulb, that would be the culprit.
