Hi all! I am trying to replace the MFS on a 2003 Expedition and am having problems getting the upper and lower covers off. I have removed both screws and the two halves have separated but there are tabs that protrude into the steering wheel that do not allow them to come off. Does the steering wheel need to be removed?

I have read a lot of posts and have seen diagrams for the older models that require the three screws, ignition and tilt lever to be removed but nothing on this generation Expedition.

Any thoughts??
